About Pioneers Hub

Pioneers Hub is a non-profit organization (gGmbH) that strengthens tech communities in Germany and across Europe. Founded in 2024, we support multiple communities with thousands of active members today.

What we do

We are the umbrella organization for community-driven tech events and initiatives. In practice, this means:

• We enable conferences like PyCon DE & PyData with over 1,500 attendees
• We support local meetups like PyData Rhein-Main, PyData Südwest, and Empowered in Tech
• We foster open source through projects like PyTube and publishing conference playbooks
• We enable access to education — in 2025, 267 students attended PyCon DE for free

Why non-profit?

As a non-profit limited company (gGmbH), we are legally required to use all revenue for our mission — not for profit. Every euro flows back into education, events, and community infrastructure.

Our non-profit certification is publicly available.
